The purpose of these provisions is to protect public health and safety. The provisions are intended to mitigate the adverse impacts of mobile home park closures on park residents by ensuring that the closure is preceded by adequate notice, that the social and economic impacts of the involuntary relocation of tenants associated with the closure are adequately defined, and that relocation and other assistance is provided park residents.
