6.10.020 Authority of Police and Fire Officers and Others.

A. It shall be the duty of police officers to enforce the provisions of this code.
B. In the event of a fire or other public emergency, police and fire officers may direct traffic as conditions require, notwithstanding the provisions of this code.
C. Parking violations may be enforced by an agent of the City authorized in writing by the Chief of Police to issue parking citations. [Ord. NS-2140, 2010]
