A. Snow to remain on the sidewalk for a period longer than the first six hours of daylight after the snow has fallen or otherwise accumulated in commercial areas and one day in all other areas.

B. Ice to remain on the sidewalk for more than six hours of daylight in commercial areas and one day in all other areas after the ice has formed unless the ice is covered with a suitable material to assure safe travel.

C. A violation of this section is a Class B civil infraction for violation in all areas except for residential property. The penalty in residential areas is a Class C civil infraction. [Ord. NS-2142, 2010]
