The applicant shall pay a fee in an amount set by Council resolution to cover the costs of permit processing and administration, including inspection and oversight. In addition, if the permit authorizes ongoing use of rights-of-way or City property, the City may collect an additional amount not to exceed fair market rental value for the duration any area is occupied by the permittee. The City shall require payment of the fair market rental value if the permittee uses the area for commercial purposes. [Ord. NS-2282, 2016]
