Excavations in rights-of-way may proceed in case of an emergency. The permit must be applied no later than the close of the next business day. Depending on the severity of the emergency the City may extend this timeline on a case-by-case basis. [Ord. NS-2282, 2016; Ord. NS-2182, 2012]
