The provisions of this chapter shall be interpreted consistent with State law relating to local improvement districts and Bancroft bonding. When State law authorizes local governments to adopt standards and procedures different from those specified in the statutes, the City may comply with either this chapter or State statutes. To the extent that any standard or procedure is not governed by this chapter, the City shall comply with State statutes. [Ord. NS-2182, 2012]
