13.10.015 Attractive Nuisances.
A. No owner or person in charge of property shall permit on the property:
1. Machinery, equipment, or other devices that are dangerous, accessible and pose a reasonable risk of injury to children.
2. Lumber, logs or pilings placed or stored in a manner so as to be dangerous, accessible and pose a reasonable risk of injury to children.
3. An excavation that remains open for an unreasonable length of time without proper barriers.
4. A cistern, well, or any other similar type of hole that is dangerous, accessible, and poses a reasonable risk of injury to children.
B. This section shall not apply to authorized construction projects with reasonable safeguards to prevent injury or death to children.
C. A violation of this section is a Class A civil infraction. [Ord. NS-2141, 2010]
