If an animal has been impounded and the owner or keeper has filed an appeal of an order of the Bend Municipal Court, then the owner or keeper of the animal must provide a bond, deposit or other security to assure payment of the cost incurred by the City for housing the animal pending appeal. The bond, deposit or other security shall be set in an amount not less than the cost of impounding the animal for six months at the rate charged the City by the animal shelter. [Ord.
